A Chilean paradise

This summer I was lucky enough to visit Torres del Paine, Chilean Patagonia. I went there a few years ago but it was just for the day and I promise myself to come back again someday to do some of the beautiful trails that this amazing place has to offer.

The adventure started in Los Angeles with Rodrigo, my boyfriend/camping partner, where we caught a bus that took us to Osorno where we met Rodrigo´s dad and his wife. From there we drove all the way to Puerto Natales, therefore I sat in the car for 36 hours (frowny face) But everything was worth it. The place is so beautiful, you can see like 4 different water colors (green, gray, blue, turquoise) of the many lakes that are inside the park, lots of guanacos, two glaciers, and of course the Torres . We did the W track in six days, walking an average of six hours per day, meeting a lot of people and just taking in nature and the spectacular sights, maybe someday we will be brave enough to do the big O (ten to eleven days).

Ps: "gringos" walk way to fast and like horses, they don´t look around, they just walk to the place that the map tells them to go to take pictures, so in general we always took like two more hours than what the map says, a tip if you want to visit Torres del Paine too.
